# Single Email Verifier

The Single Email Verifier lets you check the deliverability of one email address at a time.

## **Verify a Single Email Address**

- From your Emailable dashboard, navigate to the [Single Email Verifier](https://app.emailable.com/verifier).
- Enter the email address you want to check in the search field.

-   Click the **search icon** to run the verification.

The result displays on the screen within a few seconds.

## **Understanding Your Result**

Each verified email address is assigned a state that reflects its overall deliverability.

There are 5 possible states:

- Deliverable
- Undeliverable
- Risky
- Unknown
- Duplicate

Use the result to decide whether the email should be used or excluded.

## **View Recent Verifications**

Past results from the single verifier are saved for 24 hours and can be revisited directly from the verifier page.

- On the Single Email Verifier page, scroll to the **Recent Verifications** section.
